Whiten your Smile,
Brighten a Child's Life

What do I do?
From March 1 - June 30, you can save money and time by having participating Crown Council dentist whiten your teeth. With the new ZOOM! Weekender Kit, Crown Council dentists can give you whiter teeth in just three days. When they do, 100% of your whitening cost is donated to the Smiles for Life Foundation to help children facing serious health conditions and educational deficiencies in your community and communities throughout North America.
Who benefits?
Everyone! You save while getting a bright, new smile. The kids get the money. Dentists take pride in knowing that the time they dedicate will put smiles on the faces of thousands of children need. This year Novi Dental Center has chosen The Assarian Cancer Center here in Novi to help families in treatment. 50% of all the funds we raise during our "Smiles for Life" promotion will be donated to them!!!
How do I know that all of my money is being donated?
Crown Council dental teams donate their services, and Discus Dental donates all of the whitening supplies. When you pay for your whitening, you write a check to the Smile for Life Foundation, not to the dentist.
Who are Crown Council dentists?
The Crown Council is an alliance of leading-edge dental teams throughout the United States and Canada that are strongly committed to promoting oral health, fighting oral cancer and serving their communities through charitable work.
How do I make a child smile?
All you need to do is have your teeth whitened by a participating Crown Council dentist between the months of March and June. To find a member near you, call toll free 1-877-4SMILES (1-877-476-4537) or visit www.smilesforlife.org.

Tooth whitening is a bleaching process that lightens discoloration of enamel and dentin. The system uses a mild solution retained in a custom-fitted tray that is worn over your teeth. Tooth whitening is completely safe! Whitening with carbamide peroxide under the supervision of a dentist is safe for the teeth and the gums. In fact, many dentists consider this whitening process the safest cosmetic dental procedure available today. Results are usually seen after the first night, maximum results generally occur when the process is continued for 10-14 nights. The teeth will always be lighter than they were. However, some patients may need periodic rewhitening for one or two days, once or twice a year, especially if they continue to use stain-causing substances.
