Porcelain Veneers

Even the subtlest change in your smile can make a dramatic difference in the way you look and feel. Veneers are custom-made shells specially prepared to make your teeth look natural. They are bonded directly to the tooth, usually without anesthetic. Veneers are made from acrylic, composite resins, and porcelain. They are designed for durability, stain resistance, and a natural look. "Dr. T" will help you select the material best for you.

How it's done

Having a tooth veneered is a simple procedure that takes only a few appointments. To provide room and help strengthen the veneer, a small amount of enamel may be removed from the front of the tooth. An impression of the tooth is sent to a lab where the veneer is designed to match the color and shape of your teeth. Your tooth is prepared by roughening the front surface with a mild etching solution. The veneer is then set in place using composite resin cement.
